Description: Provides hands-on experience working with infants, toddlers and young children with special needs in a variety of early intervention and educational settings, including natural environments, self-contained special day and fully-included early childhood classrooms. Reflective practice is emphasized as student teachers design, implement, and evaluate approaches, strategies and techniques that promote development and learning. 36 hours lecture and 108 hours laboratory.
