Explores Native American history and thought regarding the relationship between humanity and the natural world, the nature of knowledge, and ethics and aesthetics of the First Peoples. Emphasis placed on Native American thought and its relevance to contemporary problems in philosophy and culture. 54 hours lecture.(Letter grade only)
