CIS-56A — Designing Web Graphics

Prerequisite: None, Advisory: Competency in the use of a computer and familiarity with the Internet recommended, such as CIS/CAT-95A.

Description: Introduction to the concepts and skills required to create, modify, and prepare visual elements for placement within web pages. Focus on the understanding of file compression, color palettes, visual design, and layout principles. The course uses Adobe Photoshop. 54 hours lecture and 18 hours laboratory.
