MUS-8A — Music Technology I

Prerequisite: None.

Description: This course is an introduction to recording, editing, mixing and mastering MIDI and digital audio using a computer-based MIDI/Digital Audio Workstation. Students who complete the course are eligible to take the Avid Pro Tools 101 exam which is the first step towards Avid Pro Tools user certification. 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
