Study of contracts, trademarks, copyrights, and marketing including the roles of personal managers, business managers, attorneys, and agents. Overview of songwriting, publishing, recordings, and royalties. Basics of touring, merchandising, and local arrangements. 54 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
