Prerequisite: PHO-8 or PHO-20.

Description: An intermediate course in photography emphasizing the theory and practice of photographic composition, use of natural and artificial lighting, on-camera filters, exposure techniques, photographic editing in both film and digital environments, data asset management in a digital darkroom and production of fine art prints. Students must provide their own digital camera with aperture and shutter controls or a 35-mm film camera with aperture and shutter controls. 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
