Nutrition and Dietetics

Nutrition and Dietetics is an academic discipline that provides a practical and personally applicable exposure to a variety of scientific areas of nutrition, such as Chemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology. This major will teach students how the scientific process of the functions of nutrients down to the cellular level contributes to nutritional and then apply this nutritional knowledge to their own health. This program will help the student to understand the relation of nutrition and disease prevention throughout the life cycle.
