RCC Student Housing

Located on the UCR campus, this innovative housing initiative provides RCCD students with access to UCR’s student services, creating a supportive, integrated community. Co-authored by RCCD and UCR, the state grant funds a development with 1,568 total beds, including 326 affordable beds for RCCD students and 326 for UCR students. UCR will oversee Management and Residence Life, with close coordination with RCC for seamless daily operations. The complex primarily features 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartments (double occupancy), supporting equity and pathways to success.

Applications open on January 16, 2025, for August 2025 move-in.

Transportation

The Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) provides bus services, including the CommuterLink Express, which departs every 20 minutes from UCR to RCC. This scenic route brings passengers to the RCC campus within 30 minutes. Active students on campus will be able to utilize this service for free with their student ID.
