Geology
Geology is the science that deals with the Earth's physical structure, its composition, and its history. Areas of study within Geology include natural resource availability, geologic hazard assessment, climate change, and the evolution of life on this planet. Students majoring in Geology typically find work in both the private and public sectors supporting environmental remediation, natural resource exploration and recovery, construction projects, academic interests, and an assortment of other scientific objectives linked with developing a better understanding of our planet.
