APPLY NOW

Applications are now being accepted for students from Moreno Valley College, Norco College, and Riverside City College to live in affordable student housing on the University of California, Riverside (UCR) campus starting in August 2025. This student housing is located at North District Phase 2 on the UCR Campus.

Move-in Day is tentatively scheduled for August 23, 2025.

This innovative partnership between Riverside Community College District and UCR offers a dynamic residential community tailored to support our students. The project features two state-of-the-art residential buildings with apartment-style units, providing 320 beds exclusively for qualified students from the RCCD Colleges. This initiative ensures students from diverse backgrounds have access to safe, affordable housing while fostering a sense of community on the UCR campus.

Unit Type and Rent

Available units will be 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartments. Each room within the apartment is double occupancy, meaning a total of 4 students will share each apartment.

Roommate Matching

Once RCCD verifies the housing application and confirms eligibility, potential residents will be entered into UCR’s roommate matching system. This system allows potential residents to select a roommate, be matched with compatible roommates, and determine availability. This system allows residents to:

  • Select a roommate,
  • Be matched with compatible roommates, and
  • Determine unit availability.

Please note that being entered into the UCR system does not guarantee a housing space, as assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
